Great-Office Scorecard
A ten-minute self-assessment of your office against the six-pillar standard — to find the weakest pillar and your next improvement.
Great-Office Scorecard
A fast, honest read on how great your office actually is — scored against the six pillars from What makes a workplace great. Use it to find the weakest pillar (the one dragging the experience down) and pick your next move. Part of The Great Workplace.
How to use it
- Walk the space and score each pillar 1–5 as it is today — not as you hope it’ll be.
- Be honest about the low scores; the point is to find them, not to look good.
- Re-score each quarter in the Quarterly Workplace Review and watch the trend.
- Pair it with the Workplace Experience Survey: your score is one view; the people using the space are the other.
The artifact
| Pillar | What “great” looks like | Score 1–5 | Biggest gap | Next action / owner |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1. It just works | Power, Wi-Fi, rooms, access never fail | |||
| 2. Feels good to be in | Light, air, acoustics, comfort | |||
| 3. Fits how you work | Right mix of focus / collab / social | |||
| 4. Welcomes everyone | Accessible + inclusive by default | |||
| 5. Shows who you are | Culture made legible; recruiting pitch | |||
| 6. Stays great | Owned, stocked, maintained, measured |
Reading it: don’t chase a perfect 30. Find your lowest score and improve that — a single weak pillar is felt more than a strong average. One gap, one owner, one next action per quarter.
